Inside the Shop: Custom Electrical System for a One-of-a-Kind Ford Bronco Build
Today we’ve got a really exciting project we wanted to share with you.
Sitting in the bay right now is a 2024 Ford Bronco Black Diamond Edition — but this isn’t your everyday Bronco. This beauty is a one-of-a-kind prototype build that we’re lucky enough to get our hands on.
Here’s what makes it so special:
The pop-top you see installed on this Bronco is the prototype from a company called Ursa Minor, based out of Portland, Oregon.
On top of that, this is also serving as a prototype vehicle for Goose Gear, the Colorado-based company known for their premium storage and interior systems.
In short — this is the first build of its kind. And we get to wire it.
Our Role: Full Custom Electrical Install
Our piece of the puzzle is the entire electrical system for the rig.
Here’s what we’re installing:
✅ Redarc BCDC Alpha 50R
✅ Redarc RedVision Display — we’ll be installing the Rogue version on this build
One of the coolest pieces of tech we’re working with here is the Rogue power distributor. It’s incredibly compact — only about an inch thick — and totally modern:
There are no physical fuses on this unit.
If you trip a fuse, it can be reset through the RedVision app — no more digging through the vehicle trying to replace blown fuses on the trail.
Stay Tuned
This project is still in progress, and we’ll be sharing updates in future posts so you can follow along and see how this unique Bronco build turns out.
We’re stoked to be part of it — and excited to help bring power and function to such an innovative adventure rig.
